只因这寡妇烦扰我，我就给他伸冤吧。免得他常来缠磨我。
Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
神的选民，昼夜呼吁他，他纵然为他们忍了多时，岂不终久给他们伸冤吗。
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
耶稣向那些仗着自己是义人，藐视别人的，设一个比喻，
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
说，有两个人上殿里去祷告。一个是法利赛人，一个是税吏。
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
我一个礼拜禁食两次，凡我所得的，都捐上十分之一。
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
那税吏远远的站着，连举目望天也不敢，只捶着胸说，神阿，开恩可怜我这个罪人。
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
我告诉你们，这人回家去，比那人倒算为义了，因为凡自高的，必降为卑，自卑的，必升为高。
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
有人抱着自己的婴孩，来见耶稣，要他摸他们，门徒看见就责备那些人。
And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
有一个官问耶稣说，善良的夫子，我该作什吗事，才可以承受永生。
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
耶稣对他说，你为什吗称我是良善的，除了神一位之外，再没有良善的。
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
